Agate bracelet

Agate is not a colour but a family. All agate is banded chalcedony, formed in cavities in volcanic rock, but the result varies so much that two agate bracelets side by side barely look alike.

The agates we carry

• Brightening Blue: banded in bright and deep shades of blue, and the best seller of this collection.
• Dragon Vein: red with white veining, the most pronounced pattern.
• Tree Agate: white with green branching, the lightest of the range.
• Black Silk: black with fine grey bands, subtle enough to wear under a shirt.
• Indian Agate and Kiwi Agate: speckled green, calm and easy to combine.
• Brazil Agate, Striped Agate and Black Banded Agate: banded in red, brown or black with white.
• Gold and Peacock Druzy: agate with an open crystal surface that catches the light.

What to look for in agate

A lot of agate on the market is dyed, and you can tell by a colour that is too even and bright and exactly the same on every bead. We don't dye. The banding you see with us has grown, so no two beads are identical, and that's exactly the point. Looking for the same earthy pattern but opaque? Then you end up at jasper.

The right size

Most agate is 8mm and therefore men's size. Indian Agate is also available in 6mm for women. Measure your wrist, add one and a half centimetres and compare it with the size chart. Exchanging for another size is free.
