Every week we speak to men buying a bracelet for the first time. They wonder: Is this for me? Does it suit me? What will people say about it? In this guide, we answer these questions honestly – based on what we genuinely observe in our webshop, our stores in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany, and our customers' reviews.

Why more and more men are choosing a gemstone bracelet
We have seen a clear shift in our orders over the past few years. While 80% of our customers used to be women, that number is now closer to 60-40. Men are discovering that a bracelet doesn't have to be a grand statement. It's simply a beautiful object to wear.
What we hear from our male customers: they want something real. No plastic, no fake leather, no mass production. A stone that is millions of years old automatically has that. That appeals to them.
In addition, the meaning plays a role - even for men who don't consider themselves spiritual. Tiger's eye for confidence before a job interview. Obsidian for focus during a busy period. Onyx as a reminder of someone. The feeling that it stands for something.
The stones our male customers choose most often
This is not a random list. These are our bestsellers for men, based on five years of sales data.
Warm brown and gold tones with a subtle shimmer. Neutral enough for everyday wear, yet interesting enough to stand out. Goes with everything.
Black. Sleek. No further explanation needed. First choice for men in corporate environments. Combines with a suit, jeans, and sports sweater.
Deep royal blue with golden pyrite inclusions. For the man who makes a conscious choice. Historically the stone of kings and pharaohs.
Porous structure absorbs essential oil - allowing you to wear a subtle scent all day. Sells itself as soon as customers discover it.
| Stone | Appearance | Best combination | Popular with |
|---|---|---|---|
| Tiger's Eye | Warm, robust | Denim, gold watch | Everyone |
| Obsidian / Onyx | Sleek, minimal | Everything | Corporate, minimalist |
| Lapis Lazuli | Royal, deep | White shirt, silver watch | Conscious chooser |
| Lava Stone | Tough, matte | Casual, festival | Men who also want fragrance |
| Hematite | Metallic, modern | Smart casual | Silver watch wearers |
How do you wear a gemstone bracelet as a man?
The question we get most often. Our honest answer: there are no fixed rules, but there are things that work.
With a watch
Same wrist or other wrist - both work. The same wrist gives a layered look (popular). The other wrist provides balance. Warm stones like tiger's eye go well with gold-colored watches. Cool stones like lapis lazuli or hematite combine better with silver or steel.
Multiple bracelets at once
Layering works if you vary the thickness: one thin, one slightly thicker, possibly a leather cord in between. Three identical bracelets in a row works less well. Our customers who layer often choose a set that has already been put together.
"I now wear it every day with my watch. No one says it's weird - everyone just asks what it is."

Black and dark gray are the least noticeable and fit into any work environment. Tiger's eye is subtle enough for most office settings. When in doubt: one bracelet, not too thick, no bright colors.

Choosing the right size
This is where things most often go wrong with online bracelet purchases. Too tight feels constricting. Too loose slides around all day. Our method: measure your wrist circumference with a measuring tape or a piece of paper, and add 1.5 to 2 cm.
- Wrist circumference 16 cm → bracelet size 17.5 – 18 cm
- Wrist circumference 17 cm → bracelet size 18.5 – 19 cm
- Wrist circumference 18 cm → bracelet size 19.5 – 20 cm
- Wrist circumference 19 cm+ → bracelet size 20.5 – 21 cm
We custom-make all our bracelets. When checking out, you enter your wrist circumference and we adjust the bracelet accordingly. This is how it works for over 20,000 customers who have rated us with an average of 4.8 out of 5. Check our full size chart if you are in doubt.
How to care for your bracelet
Natural stone is durable but not infallible. The elastic that holds the stones together is the part that wears out over time. We use extra strong elastic and give you a few tips:
- Take it off for sports, swimming, and sleeping
- Dry off perfume and sunscreen before putting on the bracelet
- Don't store it loosely in a bag where it can chafe
- Clean with a soft damp cloth - no soap needed

Gemstone bracelet as a gift for a man
Almost a third of our men's orders are gifts. Father's Day is our busiest period, but birthdays and graduations also score high.
What makes it a good gift? The combination of something tangible and a story. You're not just giving a piece of jewelry. You're giving a tiger's eye bracelet because he just became an entrepreneur. Or an obsidian because he's had a tough year and now needs focus.
Choose a stone that matches his personality. In doubt? Tiger's eye always fits.
Our busiest period for men. Tiger's eye and obsidian are the perennial favorites.
Tiger's eye for confidence, lapis lazuli for wisdom and communication.
A symbolic gift for a new phase. Choose something he'll wear for a long time.
